It's going to be a very long road back.

It has been 15 days since I hurt my lower back.  Most of the pain is gone, but there is still something wrong.  It has also bee 15 days since I did anything as far as training goes.  I worked out tonight and it was...well...see for yourself:

A Walk in the Zoo and Rehabbing the Bad Stuff

First things first...my back is still a bit crappy.  My hips are crooked, and my spine is obviously out of alignment, but the muscle issue is on it's way out!  I will be hitting the treadmill tonight, I might do some light stone throws on Friday and then next week I will re-integrate myself into the workout plan.  On Monday I hit up the San Francisco Zoo and got a good workout walking all around the facility.  Took a TON of pictures...

02-03-12 Heavy Events + Upper Body Workout

I threw the Driveway Stone 16 pounder today.  Had a rough go of it at first.  Considering I probably did over 50 throws the upper body workout was neglected, but I still pushed through.  Here it is:

02-02-12 Power Training Day

FINALLY!  I get to use the PERFORM BETTER Resistance bands for dead lift. That is the reason that I purchased them in the first place. Here's how much fun I had:

I just recently purchased a foam roller.  I know, I know...a little bit trendy for the Cave of Strength, but as I am discovering this is a good tool for anyone who has muscles(that means you!).  I have been stretching intensely lately and I decided to add this tool to my box of goodies.
