02-02-12 Power Training Day

FINALLY!  I get to use the PERFORM BETTER Resistance bands for dead lift. That is the reason that I purchased them in the first place. Here's how much fun I had:


Dead Lift off 2nd Pin + Monster Mini (+25-50)
135 x 6
225 x 6
295 x 6
315 x 5
335 x 3 x 2

225 x 8
**AWESOME FEELING!**

Power Clean off 2nd Pin with 3 Front Squats (= 1 rep)
205 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2

FATBAR 2.5" Snatch Grip Hang High Pulls
115lbs. on the bar x 8 x 8
**broke again.**

CARDIO: What I call "The Lost Hiker" = 1 mile of hills 6%-10% staggered at constant 3.5 speed.  Faster than a normal walk.  10 minutes at 10%, 5 minutes at 6%, and downhill swing of 2 minutes at 2%.  FRIED MY CALVES AND HAMS!

WORKOUT SUMMARY:
Wow!!!  I love the bands when I used them for what I originally purchased them for.  Does that make sense?  Who cares, I'm taking a nap!
