03-30-12 INSEASON Speed/Power Wrap Up and Maxes

Finished up a shortened version of the INSEASON Speed/Power block of Matt Vincent's TRAINING LAB.  I maxed out even though it was not called for because I needed to see how my strength is recovering.  Keep in mind I still have THREE BULGING DISCS in my lower back.  Here's the workout:

For some reason I am kicking this sh!t out of this injury today!  I feel great!  I PR in light weight for distance, and then I am able to jog on the treadmill with less pain...I feel that life is about to punk me for my lunch money...oh well, here is the workouts and such:

Not doing any work tonight at all.  I was planning on doing Pre-Season Speed W1D2, but I think that my MRI would better serve my recovery if my back muscles aren't trashed from dead lifts and over head press.  So I think I will just talk a little bit...

In case you're wondering...the crest at the end is my own variation of the Miller crest. Normally three wolves heads are on a shield, but I am a one man Wolf Pack! And the collar translates from Irish and says, "self hatred motivates". The latin motto at the bottom say, "Keep Moving Forward".
